The gods are asexual?
Pharyngula is a blog by PZ Myers (biologist and atheist). Some nutter posted an 80,000 plus word screed in the comments on his blog: help_a_guy_out #comment-773668
He pointed this out to his readers in this post: me_not_crazy_like_12_galaxies
Many of Myers fans suggested he impose a 2500 word limit to prevent rants like this in the future. Some commenters have also suggested that this text was randomly generated. The good thing is you don’t have to wade through all 80,000+ words to find the most bizarre and outrageous statements. BECAUSE HE PUTS THEM IN ALL CAPS. And this one statement jumped out at me:
THE GODS ARE ASEXUAL. THEY HAVE NO SEX ORGANS NOR RECTUM
I’m sure the gods exist in this person’s fevered delusions, but what I want to know is how did he figure it out? Did he pick up a god like a puppy and look under its tail and say, “Hey, this god is asexual. It has no sex organs nor rectum.”?
